Olympian Ed Clancy joins Cycle North instructors for Walk and Wheel Challenge

What an incredible day at Plover School in Doncaster! After taking part in the Mayor’s Walk and Wheel Challenge, Plover won a BikeabilityUK cycling workshop with Olympic cyclist Ed Clancy, the South Yorkshire Active Travel Commissioner, and delivered by Cycle North.

As part of ambitious plans for active travel centred around schools, hundreds of pupils walked, wheeled and cycled to school in July for the Walk and Wheel Challenge.

MP checks out cycle training in Sheffield

Sheffield Heeley MP, Louise Haige visited our training in Batemoor. It's good to see Bikeability recognised on a local and national level.

Bikeability
(and Cycle North) is expanding

The government’s commitment to “free cycle training for all” includes plans to expand the Bikeability scheme and make it available to all primary schools. We are expanding to meet this challenge and are currently recruiting both trained instructors, and energetic and enthusiastic people to train with us to become instructors.
