Cycle North is expanding our Bikeability delivery across Wakefield, South Leeds, Dewsbury, Batley and Doncaster, and we’re looking for new team members to join our instructor team.

No previous experience of teaching cycling is required — we provide full training

Experience in sports coaching, education, or working with children aged 10–12 is a strong advantage. And yes, being a parent absolutely counts.

About the Role

 -   Flexible, generally termtime only work
-    Starting pay £13.00/hr, rising to £15.00/hr after probation
-    Travel expenses, paid holiday, pension, and sick pay included
-    All staff are required to undergo a DBS check

Instructor Training – September 2026

Training is free for new staff.

Location:

HEART (Headingley Enterprise and Arts Centre) Bennett Road, Headingley, Leeds, LS6 3HN

Dates:

Wednesday 2nd – Friday 4th September 2026

Time: 9am – 5pm each day.
Attendance on all three days is required.

The course includes three days of practical training plus some evening preparation.
Before attending, candidates must complete a set of online tasks.
